About Us
We are more than a therapy practice — we are a partner in your journey through life.
Our Story
ULTRA COMMUNITY OT is a professional occupational therapy practice based in Australia, serving clients of all ages across a wide range of needs and backgrounds. We are dedicated to helping people improve daily function, enhance participation in life, and achieve better physical, cognitive, and emotional wellbeing.
As a client-centred practice, we believe every person has unique strengths and a meaningful life to live. Our services look beyond function — they focus on each client's real-life experience, personal goals, and individual value.
We combine clinical expertise with genuine human warmth, attending to the whole of life: physical activity, self-care, learning and work, family and social participation, and emotional and mental health. Our core principles are professionalism, respect, warmth, and collaboration — walking alongside every client, every step of the way.
Our Therapist Commitment
Every occupational therapist at ULTRA COMMUNITY OT is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). We bring not just professional credentials, but a deep commitment to respectful, inclusive communication — listening attentively to each client's story and goals, and always asking "what truly matters to you?" rather than prescribing what we think should be done.
Our Vision
Through professional, personalised, and compassionate occupational therapy, we aim to help every client achieve maximum independence, functional ability, and psychological wellbeing — experiencing dignity, value, and hope in everyday life.
We focus on how clients perform in real-life settings — not just in the therapy room. Every support aims to help them complete actual tasks, build confidence, and act with greater autonomy.
Recovery is not just about regaining skills — it's about rebuilding dignity and self-worth. Every independently completed task is proof of a person reclaiming their life.
Every client has unique needs and goals. Our team designs evidence-based, individualised plans that fit into clients' daily lives, producing sustained and meaningful change.
Functional limitations often come with psychological stress and feelings of isolation. We care for the whole person — addressing emotional health alongside physical function.
We partner with families, educators, healthcare teams, and community resources so clients receive consistent support in familiar environments — enabling truly sustainable change.
We want every client to discover their strengths, develop interests and life skills, and rediscover a sense of engagement and satisfaction. Recovery should be a meaningful, positive, hopeful experience.
Our Mission
At ULTRA COMMUNITY OT, we believe every person deserves the right to choose how they live their life.
Whether it's a child just learning to express their needs, an older person working hard to maintain independence, someone living with a disability who is pushing against physical limitations, or a person temporarily lost due to mental health challenges — no one should be defined by their illness, disability, or environment. Everyone deserves the chance, at their own pace, to learn, grow, participate, contribute, and enjoy the small joys of life.
We think about the child sitting alone in the corner because they can't communicate with classmates. The older person afraid to go outside alone because of fall risk. The person gradually losing motivation to life because of anxiety and depression. The family members quietly bearing the weight of caring for a loved one, hoping for support and understanding. These are the people we serve — and these experiences are what drive us every day.
Keeping client and family needs at the centre of all we do
Upholding service quality through evidence-based practice and professional standards
Treating every client with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
Working collaboratively with families, schools, medical teams, and the community
Taking a long-term, sustainable view — building capacity, not dependency
Our Values
Genuine, heartfelt care
At ULTRA COMMUNITY OT, we believe meaningful service begins with care. We don't serve a case, a report, or a diagnosis — we serve a real person, along with the family, carers, and support network around them.
We care whether a client can complete a task, but we care more about how they feel after completing it. We care whether a child has learned a new skill, but care more about whether they've grown more confident and independent as a result. We care whether older people are living safely, but more whether they still feel dignity and autonomy. We believe every person deserves to be taken seriously.
Deep, meaningful understanding
At ULTRA COMMUNITY OT, we believe effective support begins with understanding. Before someone is a client, they are a parent, a child, a partner, an employee, a carer, a student — or simply a person facing the challenges of life.
We want to know: What does this person value most? What brings them joy? What are they afraid of? What are they working towards? What kind of life do they hope to have? We believe a child is not just a label on a diagnosis; an older person is not just their age and illness; a person with disability is not just their functional limitations.
Relentless advocacy
At ULTRA COMMUNITY OT, change is never easy — but we believe in every possibility. Every client deserves the right to choose how they live their life. Challenges may come from physical, cognitive, or psychological limitations, or from social environments, lack of resources, or systemic barriers. We believe everyone has the potential to grow and change — and our responsibility is to help them find the way.
We are willing to take time to find answers. To keep learning. To challenge conventional thinking. To advocate for our clients. Occupational therapy is not just about providing a service — it's about helping a person fight for more choices, greater autonomy, and better opportunities in life.
